knives
My knives.
From top left - Marking ( ground 45 deg old stanley blade )
My oldest knife - Yew handle - double ground. Small double ground - Single ground right Japanese bimetal - Two home made violin bridge cutting knifes - one tiny, one curved
blade single ground. An original DIY knife - carbon re-sharpenable blade as used by everyone until Mr Stanley decided blades should be thrown away once dull !
I have to include my trusty site 'Stanley' - as it lived daily for many years its gun-slinger style holster when I did site carpentry. It still has a place as a tool.
I have had the big double gorund blade for forty years - the Irwin body has got to be close on twenty !
All the wood handles I made ( some quicker than others )
