Kevan's 1/72nd Matchbox CF-101B CAF Voodoo
This was a started kit gifted to Kevan and what a save, indeed! Kevan just loves those old Matchbox kits, for while they might not be perfect, they go together like a dream! Mind you, they were molded in some pretty wild colours.
Kevan was lucky with this old one, as the decals (always a sore spot with Matchbox kits) went on like a dream. They look wonderful. This is one of the 102 loaned to the Canadian Air Force by the USAF during the cold war. This one is from No 409 Night Hawk Squadron, Comox, B.C., 1970.
And if you are wondering, the glint of metal in the cockpit is a bit of weight Kevan needed to keep the Voodoo level, as its fuselage was glued.
