Returning to nature
Myself and Andy Hoare went out for the 'classic' Redcar shot and whilst Andy scoured the edges of the marshes for access to the nature reserve for a shot across a lagoon, I took up position to make use of the flowering hawthorn alongside the road bridge. As we walked off and similar to earlier in the morning we nearly missed a westbound potash train. Forttunately we'd only walked about 10 metres up the road before realising the trains had just passed. Unlike earlier in the morning we managed to catch both trains opposed to the one train we missed earlier.
Redcar steelworks still just about stands proud prior to demolition as the area is starting to be returned to nature.
