Boot Hill

For all you Western fans who loved John Wayne and many of the other Hollywood greats: Boot Hill in Tombstone Arizona opened in 1878 and closed in 1884 when a new cemetary was opened in Tombstone. Today the origional Boot Hill is well maintained and is an attraction for many tourists. Old wooden markers have been replaced with new wood and accurate transcription of the names and wording on the origional markers. This marker is typical of what you will see if you decide to visit Boot Hill.
