Not Quite Me

Play Me I'm Yours at the Millennium Bridge.
This was a popular spot for action on the piano, one of many located around the City as part of the City of London Festival. In the short time I was there, four pianists had a go. Not all the pianos were being played and I was certain I was about to have a wasted day after the first four locations turned up silent and neglected pianos. The next four, however, reversed the trend.
(Touring internationally since 2008, “Play Me, I’m Yours” is an artwork by British artist Luke Jerram. Over 400 pianos have now been installed in cities across the globe, from New York to Sydney, bearing the simple instruction ‘Play Me, I’m Yours’.) Lifted from www.streetpianos.com/
