THIS PHOTO IS SHOWN WITH THE KIND PERMISSION OF STEVE HARVEY.31270 happily steaming away at Peterborough on the 14.14 1M68 Norwich to Birmingham through train on 20th February 1982. 31270 was my machine and although she's preserved i haven't had a run with her since 17th July 1992 when she worked the FO Cardiff to Manchester in a pair with 31530.

Most memorable run with 31270 was in a pair on a new year relief train from Taunton to Paddington with 31135 steaming on 12 mark one compos. Only Steve and i on there. 2nd Jan 1982.
