Scribbling with crayons

So this is my first attempt at a sketch for the Brit Quilt swap. It was very quiet at my work tonight so I started doodling with my biro. When I got home I pulled out the kids crayons and started colouring.

Q. How do you make your sketches look professional and artistic?

A. Do not use a biro pen and crayons!!!
