Order of Ontario Investiture Ceremony – February 3, 2015
On February 3, 2015, the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and Chancellor of the Order of Ontario, formally welcomed 26 remarkable people into the Order of Ontario during a ceremony at Queen's Park. The Order of Ontario is the province’s highest official honour. It recognizes any current or former long-time resident of Ontario who has demonstrated a high level of individual excellence and achievement in any field benefiting the people of Ontario or anywhere in the world. By stepping forward as leaders in the community, the newest members of the Order of Ontario have helped build a brighter future for our province, and the world.
