Routes 40 (anti-clockwise) & 41 (clockwise) provide a circular service from the City Centre to Pillgwenlly and serve the new riverside residential developments which are rapidly springing up south of the city centre along the River Usk, as well as the dockland inner city community of Pillgwenlly. The routes are an extension of the original and longstanding service to Newport Docks, however these days you won't find many dock workers onboard.
