Must be approaching 4pm. Dave Sholin and associates had flown in from San Francisco to interview the couple for the RKO network. This was the last ever interview John gave and this is one of the last images of John inside the Dakota.
John and Yoko hitched a ride to the studio with Dave & his crew in their limo as the Lennon's limo had not shown up. John & Yoko then continued to the studio, working on "Walking on Thin Ice".
"John stuck his head in and said “Can we get a lift?” So they got in, and we had the best chat on the way. He started singing Little Richard stuff---can you believe it? It was great. He was singing all this 50’s stuff and it was so enjoyable."
