After the grand entrance into Wales via the Severn Bridge the traveller drives rather less dramatically back into England at Bigsweir Bridge over the River Wye between Tintern and Redbrook. No major border controls except a traffic light and an old abandoned house that may one have collected tolls for those crossing the bridge.
