Two Awesome Awfulograms
Part of an exhibition of work called 'Awfulograms' by leading pinhole photographer Justin Quinnell in the Bear Pit in central Bristol, these images were taken by putting photographic paper inside a beer can and briefly allowing light to enter through a tiny pinhole. The pinhole's unlimited depth of field and 160 degree angle of view gives amazing distortions of the human face. The models include people who work close to the bear pit and also Justin's own children. I had one done of my face too but didn't make it to the wall. For further info see here
