DC-3 under the Stars
DC-3 under the Milky Way in a remote Kansas field.
This image was put together in 2 stages. First was a photo at 14mm, F2.8, ISO 2500, 30 sec exposure for the sky. Then I left tripod and camera in place until about an hour before sunrise. At that point, the shadows from floodlights dissipate and I can drop my ISO way down to get a clean image of the grass and plane. Then merge the two in photoshop.
