in your eyes

Perception. Self-perception. How can the way someone else see us be so different than how we see ourselves? When my husband takes my picture, he sees someone that I don't see. I trust his vision, and have confidence in him. When I take my own picture, its so much more difficult to trust my vision. So today I'm going to try with this photo to step outside my comfort zone. To take a picture of myself in a way that challenges my self-perception. To see if I have confidence in myself. I would love someday to be able to see what he sees. I can see myself through his eyes. I need to see myself though my own.

 

On a side note, tomorrow we leave for Vegas!!! A business trip for him, a joy ride for me! Apparently "we" rented a wide angle lens for the trip. I didn't know we rented one until it arrived in the mail yesterday. This will be the first ever vacation where I will get to touch the camera!!! Up until now, there has been a designated family photographer, this should be interesting. Will return on Thursday, so until then, have a great week!!!!
