West Rudham, St Peter's Church, Norfolk - Stained Glass

North Nave window 2 of West Rodham Church Norfolk.

Detail: Gabriel from the Annunciation.

The figures remaining in the tracery lights date from the 15th century and include a figure of Christ crowned with thorns (top centre). Additionally, figures survive from scenes representing the Annunciation and the Coronation of the Virgin Mary. Christopher Woodforde considers them similar in style to those found at St Peter Hungate (Norwich) and Stratton Strawless although “not as good” stating “The drawing is thin and the colouring poor.” He believes that they may have been produced by a local firm.
