Created by Lincolnshire-based artist Carolyn Short, the Fairytale Elephant is covered in a steel inspired patchwork quilt, depicting characters from well known and loved children’s stories. Carolyn wanted her elephant to not only reflect Sheffield’s famous steel works but also to be an interactive piece of art. Hunt down the Fairytale Elephant and see if you can guess which 22 traditional stories each of the images in the piece are linked to.
