The first three games of the 2008 season have the Sox looking like this 1-2 so far in the W/L column....the opener should've gone our way...game two we sucked...no other way to put it....
Now how was game 3 (First win of 2008) different for the good guys? Good pitching! John Danks went untouched minus a walk through five and in the seventh when things look rough (THANKS A LOT JERMAINE FOR FUCKING UP DANKS' WIN TODAY!!!!!) the bullpen was lights out to a powerful Indian offense....
Sox win 2-1 and now are off to Detroit for a three game series after they were swept in their opening series against (drumroll please....) The Kansas City Royals...which proves...good pitching wins ball games....
Its a far cry from the 2005 season but thats what being a fan is all about...sticking it out through thick and thin....
