This final glance-down from the gallery, shows one of the partitons rolled-back, giving free access into the dining-hall.
When all four partitions are nested-back, the dining-hall becomes an overflow seating area, giving three hundred more people a chance to see and hear what is going on in the concert-hall . . . a very intelligent use of space !
I had to go to Hunstanton again later this afternoon, so I could not stay for the whole event . . . which was to end with a tree-planting ceremony, to mark the 50th. anniversary of the School's Foundation . . . a thoroughly splendid occasion !
