Rare Markings
I believe that my first safari to South Africa was my third or fourth safari. I had only been in East Africa on safari. I quickly learned that the likelihood of seeing different African species increases when you go to different areas and countries.
On this safari, I had a female guide who could hold her own against any male guide. Despite the fact that she had worked in the bush for years, her excitement on game drives was infectious. When we saw this antelope, the Nyala, she screamed out a huge "WOW!"; the words "So RARE" followed. Okay, I said to myself take pictures. Again I thought, I will see others. along the way. WRONG!!! I should have taken 20 more shots. Rare, means RARE!
