Water's edge

Also taken for "Our Daily Challenge ... tree" Pandanus trees are native to this area and dot the edge of the walking track which follows the coastline out to the "Head".

The Pandanus is native to coatal areas of Northern Australia. They have clumps of large serrated, strappy leaves and commonly have many thick prop roots near the base, which provide support as the tree grows top-heavy with leaves, fruit, and branches.
