Princess Parrot or Polytelis alexandrae,34-46cm, Male can be longer. Not normally found in Adelaide, its normal range is in the desert country of Central Australia where they are nomadic following the seeds and flowers that they eat.They group in smal flocks and pairs . They are rare and endangered in the wild.
