The first nine New Flyer Xcelsior diesel-version buses XD40, which are replacing old 40ft NFI buses, have taken to the road since 18/8/2011. CT ordered 24 Xcelsior buses from NFI, 9 of diesel buses and 15 of hybrid version ones. #11102, was seen on the 116, is one of the diesel version of Xcelsiors.
