My "Hometown" Local
I grew up just a little bit west of the Carol Stream, IL industrial park back in the "Chicago Central" days, so I always get a kick out of shooting the local that works the line, as it's my "hometown" local. The train often rates about whatever "38-2" type of engine they have laying around, so there's quite a bit of variety to be had on it, such as this day when it drew an ex-EJ&E SD38-2.
