Demo Highlights High Energy Pulse Superiority of Bulk Metal® Foil Resistors
Vishay Foil Resistors division (VFR) has unveiled a new video that presents a demonstration of the high energy pulse capabilities of two resistor technologies: thin film and Bulk Metal® Foil. The short video demonstrates how an 80x rated power electrical pulse vaporizes the thin film device, but is easily absorbed by the Foil resistor.
