collage #2 assiment copy

One of the principles of design that I chose to use was contrast. I made all of my pictures have low contrast so that you can see my background better. Another principle I chose was shape. My background has circles and squares. My collage also has form. Some of the shapes in the background are very organic, and different from the rest of the images in the collage. My focal point or emphasis is the Shinedown CD cover, because the bright blue gets your attention right away. Color is another I used for one of my principles of design. You can see lots of color in the Sugarland CD cover. There are Shades of purple, orange, red and yellow. I would say that all my pictures in my collage have value, because of their contrast, and lightness and darkness in the images. In the image of Keith Urban, he is walking up the CD cover because of the title of the CD, and in the background, behind him, there is something that looks as if he is in motion. This makes my collage have movement.
