Wot A Weather
Seen it all this week. Snow in Kendal was spectacular. Snow in Manchester and London Heathrow was hugely exaggerated.
Today in Macau we had a thunderstorm. In March that is Nutz. The temperatures forecast for this week is simply bizarre. But not complaining. A dry, mediterranean feel in spring is very welcome if not believable .....3 days out.
19 19 99 no sun is the norm. (daytime;nightime;humidity)
I don't go a bundle on any excuse for the 3.5 hour delay I experienced on BA31 ex LHR on Wednesday night. Lack of deicing equipment during a period of massive proactive schedule cancellations is PATHETIC.Very cleverly kept the delay under 4 (Ba and HAA colluding?) hours to avoid EC261 compensation claims on a long haul flight. They even admitted to loading "extra fuel" to speed up the journey!!!
BA cabin staff were superb and wordldy wise.
