Hoarfrost or white frost is a deposit of needle-like ice crystals formed on the ground, grasses, trees and bushes, by direct condensation of air humidity (i.e. fog) at temperatures below freezing point (-6°C this morning).

 

Gelo... pungente! Cristalli di ghiaccio di forma quasi aciculare sui frutti del Philadelphus.
