Predator Vs. Predator
I went out yesterday afternoon for a little macro shooting. It was very hot and windy but I found a little Blue Dasher tucked away in a hedge so I started snapping some shots. Shortly after that this robberfly buzzed my ear and landed on a branch above my head. I was able to snap one shot of her and she dove off her perch and drove the Blue Dasher to the ground.
The sight was a little bittersweet, but these are two of my favorite subjects and this was an incredible thing to witness.
Focusing was alittle tough, because I do not stack. I wanted to try to get both of their faces in focus but I knew this wasn't going to happen so I split the difference.
