Since I'm living in Taipei now I've started to study Mandarin quite seriously. Its a lot more difficult than I first imagined. I can't get the tones quite right.

 

I try to study for an hour a day when I can... My girlfriend thinks I sound hilarious. I don't disagree with her.

 

This is my notepad and my reading glasses. Can you read my handwriting? I can't...
