88/365 the love and support

My sister and 5-year-old niece came over last night and right away my niece wanted to go to the backyard to pick flowers - her favorite springtime activity at my house. When she came back in, she had a whole bowl full of daffodils but she also had lots and lots of greenery and other bits from the garden. As she started to make her flower arrangement in a mason jar I gave her, my sister asked her what all the extra stuff was for. Immediately she answers, "Mommy, that's the love and support."

 

I love my niece.
