Cuckmere valley Sunrise

Cuckmere Valley Sunrise, from just north of High and Over. To be precise this was about 10 mins before the sun popped it's head over Friston Forest and the South Downs hills.

 

The sky was an awesome colour, but I needed to stack a couple of ND grads to hold any of the foreground detail.

 

On Camera stuff:

- Lee 0.6 ND hard grad

- stacked Lee 0.6 ND soft grad

 

Post Processing:

- Adjusted WB in ACR

- Levels adjustments in CS4

- Some selective dodging and burning in CS4

- Un-sharp mask in CS4

 

This is best viewed in Lightroom on Black --- Press "L"

 

Canon 5D Mk II with EF 17-40mm L lens @19mm, ISO 100, 1.6 secs at f/14, tripod, Lee 0.6 hard and soft grads.
