I aim at angles that I feel shouldn't work but end up working. A lot of times I close my eyes when I shoot. Or I shake the camera up or down or side to side for different effects. I try and let the camera take the picture and not me. The less control, the better. With this plant I just stuck the lens inside and shot without looking....
For processing I use Photoshop Elements 8. I like to make a layer and then play with the lighting. One of my favorite choices is Multiply which makes the photo dark and then I play around with the opacity.
I like to go to extremes with the intensity of color. It makes me happy!!
Of course this is the Pisces method....
