Variable Star 1

So far this is my favorite block made with the vintage fabric. I had to add the toile fabric (shhh, it's a reproduction, don't tell anyone) in order to get a Mother and child in the center of this block. I wanted to represent Eliza and her daughter and to remember how hard and long our Grandmothers had to fight for the rights we now enjoy. Let's not let our Grandmothers down by allowing these hard fought rights being taken away from us! Wow, The history around this block really got to me!
