Wilkes-Barre Irem Temple Minarets

Designed for, and built by the Shriners in the glory days of Wilkes-Barre, this building has fallen into disrepair.

It does resemble, and is often confused with a mosque by Moslems and non Moslems alike.

Its front entrance and inside arrangement does face West, however, perhaps negating its suitability as an actual mosque.

This is an excellent building to view and appreciate.
