Amtrak Visiting Scranton

Photo taken at a Steamtown Railfest a few years ago.

 

Unfortunately, Amtrak does not serve Scranton.

 

The Lackawanna Route from Scranton to Buffalo to the West, and New York (Hoboken) to the East was a really nice ride. I also fondly recall the Lehigh Valley trains from Wilkes-Barre to Buffalo.

 

Perhaps some day, service will be restored
