Jesse Mendes of Brasil (pictured) placed equal 5th in the VANS World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach, North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii today 4 December 2012.
On the final day of the VANS World Cup of Surfing, Mendes reached the Semi-Final after advanced through Round 4 and the Quarter Finals. In his Semi-Final heat Mendes placed third giving him an overall equal 5th, 3400 points towards his ASP rating and US$7,500 in prize money.
