Celestial Eye
This was one of the shots taken this evening at a vantage point in the North Meadow of Chambers Creek Properties, looking south to Steilacoom's Independence Day fireworks celebration.
I haven't taken many fireworks images as I really am not too familiar with the settings of my camera. But I did a bit of online research before heading out to watch the show, in the hopes that I would improve my technique. I used my tripod off and on, but this shot was taken while my finger was holding the continuous shot button down....thus the squiggles. However, it reminds me of some deep space shot of a distant galaxy or nebula or something. I rather like the abstract nature of this one. :-)
