Swedish Dm3 iron ore locomotive
Swedish classic iron ore Dm3 locomotive with Lego Powered Up motorization. Unit 1 and 3 each has a 2ch city hub + large motor, which powers the three large wheels with side rods. Unit 2 in the middle is not motorized.
The two hubs are controlled with a custom program in the PuP app, to run both motors in sync with one slider.
Arrangement of wheels deviates from the prototype. It's adapted to a proven configuration I've used for a number of years on my Da-locomotive => so the Dm3 handles standard Lego R40 curves and switches.
