The view from Wilderspool Causeway bridge looking back to Arpley Junction and DB 67005 just visible near the Junction signal box is moving the VSOE ecs into Arpley Yard for stabling and servicing. The big building to the right is Warrington Telephone Exhange where I worked for over 20 years. The visible Car Park was the former ABC Cinema that later became Mr Smyths night club famed for the TV programme 'The Hitman and Her’ featuring Pete Waterman ... later destroyed by fire.
