Stone and Iron. St Mary's Church in Birkenhead was designed by Architect Thomas Rickman in 1821 and features cast Iron tracery in the windows, thought to be by the ironmaster John Cragg. Ongoing restoration of the tracery includes removal of nearly 200 years of paint and rust to reveal the beauty of the original castings.
