GreenRap halfway through weightloss - pic3

Today I decided to replace all the threaded metal rods on my RepRap Mendel, with slick Alu bars.

 

You might be able to spot one threaded rod still in the picture.

 

Also note the 3mm screws I have tapped into the new alu bars, in the hope that it will keep them secure and in place.
