Yeah Yeah Yeah

I found this set of Beatle figures at a car boot sale recently and, of course, I had to have them. I have been trying to work out the significance of the colours. I guess Ringo is yellow because of Yellow Submarine but why Paul is red or George is white or John is green I have no idea. lol

Any suggestions?
