Roadswitchers Meet
Pictured in front of the old station at Galt or more appropiarely named "West Back Track Switch Galt", the Ham Turn (CP 8221 West) rolls off the Waterloo Sub, holding up the days T69 aka "The London Pickup". The Ham Turn was normally light power or at most a couple cars ex Hamilton, but could and would lift Galt on it's return journey to London. Pictured here is the pair of GP9's 8221-8229 pulling off the Waterloo with a large lift while the "Pickup" holds up on the Galt Sub main with a duo of SD40-2's. They will follow the Ham Turn light power to London.
