Tewkesbury - Healings Mill

Healings Mill at Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire surrounded by a flooded Mill Avon River. This was built in 1869 by Samuel Healing and stayed in the family until 1961 when it was taken over by Allied Mills. At one time grain from America and Canada was transported from the docks at Avonmouth or Sharpness by the firm's barges which were named after local villages.
