Georgemas Junction
Georgemas Junction is the most northerly junction on the railway network, where the line splits for Wick and Thurso. Its not the first place you would expect to see a loco, especially come the late 1990s. But on 09.08.97, 3 class 37s could be found, on two different trains. Dutch liveried 37043, the former 'Loch Lomond' is seen on the 6H56 Ferrywagons from Inverness which at this time used to bring fridge freezers to the area for Norfrost. The empty BDAs carried pipes, which can be seen on the left, and are being hauled by 37517 and 37682.
