Located at 1523 Laperriere Ave, Ottawa, Ontario, this building housed Atomic Energy of Canada Limited's Commercial Products Division in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Various radiotherapy devices, such as the Theratron Jr., were manufactured here, and were successfully exported worldwide. By the mid-1960s, AECL's Commercial Products Division had outgrown the facility, and moved elsewhere. Nonetheless, the building still has an important role in telling the story of Canada's nuclear industry and its successes.
