Cars not allowed in Brussels!

This view could become a pedestrians heaven! Why? Here you see the boulevard in front of the Central Station of Brussels.

 

A couple of months ago, cars - busses and bicycles would ran you over here, if you dared to cross the street.

 

Now, the city council, has decided to create a boulevard, offlimit for cars. Hooray!

I'm so happy, that i'm not even irritated about the slightly longer distance i have to walk to my work, that is located in the Central Station.
