Here is the setting after it has been filed and sanded absolutely flush by hand. It is a time-consuming procedure but it is a procedure that I prefer to do by hand so I can 'feel' and 'see' exactly what I am doing and make it as precise as possible. There are no visible joins either where the bezel wire has been joined or where the bezel strip has been soldered to the base. It is absolutely 'seamless'!!!
