After all these years battling the deer in my garden, I am ready to admit defeat.
I know there are ways to combat them, but you have to be at the battlefield site in order to win the war!
I came home from the shore to find they'd nipped off everyone of my lilies in the front garden, and they'd done a "clip job" on the tomatoes in the kitchen garden.....where Larry insisted they were safe because deer don't like tomatoes.
Tell it to the deer! Evidently somebody in the herd has developed a taste for them!
