Saving Grace. From where I stand.

Okay, gonna share a bit of the ol honest.

I've felt like the worst mom lately. I've been so insanely busy of late ( especially since I got so benhind going on vacation) that my kids have had to take the back burner so I can get some stuff done.

I find this especially hard, after spending 12 days on vacationing enjoying them exclusively.

Honestly, it's put me a bit out of sorts, feeling all kinds of icky.

In a desperate moment the other morning, I decided to save my bad mom feelings, and make pancakes.

While mixing the batter, I remembered.

The Mickey ear pancake mold.

It was a last minute purchase, the last day of vacation.

I imagined rainy day fun, snowy mornings home- us and our mickey pancakes. Who knew Mickey was going to get employed so quickly in our home!

 

Alas, it did the trick.

I got oooohs and aaahs as mickey got placed on the breakfast table. Hugs and kisses too.
